- Binoculars.
- Anti malaria prophylactics
- Small medical kit for cuts & grazes
- Sunglasses.
- Contact lens wearers may be bothered by dust, it is advisable to bring glasses just in case.
- Anti-diarrhea tablets (Imodium)
- Sun block.
- Insect repellent {with deet}
- Cool cotton clothes.
- A warm sweater.
- Light raincoat.
- Water bottle.
- Wide brimmed hat.
Dont forget!
- Film & batteries. (Slide film is very hard to buy in Africa. Please make sure that for slide(dias) pictures you bring plenty with you!)
- Torch or headlamp
Money
Although most major Hotels accept credit cards.
For things purchased, the rates for obtaining cash via credit cards are very high.
Therefore it is advisable to bring travelers checks and plenty of cash.
